Laura Balasko earned her designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) following her graduation
from the University of Western Ontario earning her degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business, HBA; and Honors Specialize in Biology. Laura currently works full time as the Senior Financial Analyst for Wawanesa Life Insurance.

Laura loves to be busy with sports; she coaches with Sports Manitoba – Field Hockey. She loves running…and does a lot of that with her new puppy Darby! When she’s not busy coaching, running or chasing her new puppy she loves to watch football.

When it’s time for rest and relaxation like many Manitobans Laura loves going to the lake enjoying our beautiful summers! If you ask Laura where she wants to travel too, she’ll tell you to bring her to the beautiful Blue Oceans and sun!

Laura wants to help her community in any way that she can. Serving as a Member at Large on the Golden Links Lodge Board of Directors allows her to put her very strong financial background to great use. Laura will work collectively with our CEO to ensure that Golden Links Lodge is making strong financial decisions that benefit the residents and our home.
